Cooper Coated Coil – Now and the Future
Welcome to the inaugural blog for Cooper Coated Coil’s new website.
Our new website better reflects exactly what we do as a business and is part of a wide-ranging fresh approach to CCC and our work in both our traditional and emerging markets. From our humble origins over 50 years ago as a niche coil coating company called ‘Custom Coil Coaters’, we have evolved to become a global supplier of coated metals to a host of different markets.
Our material is currently used in over 40 million products a year worldwide, but we will not rest on our laurels and are continuously looking at ways to develop as a business to the benefit of our team and customers alike.
What have CCC been doing and what has changed?
Perhaps our most significant development in recent years has been the opening of our new Head Office and Blanking Operation Centre at Steel Park, Wolverhampton. Located just a few minutes from the existing Coil Coating Centre, the new, state-of-the-art 12,500 square foot Steel Park premises has enabled us to bring together our Sales and Commercial based employees into modern, purpose built offices.
We have also been able to relocate the two blanking lines, releasing much needed floor space at the Coil Coating Centre. The move signals our continuing commitment for future growth and we look forward to welcoming customers, suppliers and new partners into our new Steel Park HQ.
The move to additional premises is a reflection of our long term vision to be very much a manufacturing company for the 21st century. Our additional focus on new markets can often mean extensive and modern testing techniques, working in partnership with some of the world’s leading technology innovators, and our new-build head office captures this modernisation perfectly.
Our customer markets have evolved to encompass a whole new raft of applications for our core product. Whilst still expertly servicing our traditional bakeware and non-stick application solutions, we have also successfully developed solutions for other products in a number of emerging markets. This has seen a significant increase in our relationships with production companies in Europe, USA, South America and the Far East with some of these solutions to be discussed in future blogs.
Our fresh approach has seen us form partnerships with many new clients based in the industrial heartlands of Asia, with regular attendance at many of the region’s leading trade fairs. This has been a combination of the growth of our traditional applications and also new applications that we have tested and developed.

We employ a highly skilled team to cover both the production and administrative areas of our business. A number of our team have been with us for many years, and together with newer recruits are energised by the evolvement of the business and the commitment to new business development.

Our vision is to not only maintain our position as a world leader in the supply of coated coil but also to further engage in developing alternative uses for our core product. The versatility of coated coil lends itself to a multitude of applications, some of which we are yet to discover!
