CCC has for the last ten years carried out an extensive testing programme on many types of non-stick coatings from a range of coating manufacturers. These coatings have been applied using different coating techniques and the results have been truly startling.
It became apparent that there are clearly differentiated levels of performance available in the market, not always appropriately or clearly marked. Often the illusion of premium performance has been sold on the thickness of the steel and not the quality of the coating. This is especially the case with so-called Heavy guage or professional grade bakeware coming in from China with a Silicone spray coating. Tests show spray-coated bakeware is usually unable to cook a chicken ten times without the coating coming away.
Our findings clearly demonstrate that weight is no indication of quality. Quality performance starts with the coating, enhanced by good design, function and appropriate material thickness.
Based on these results, CCC has introduced the Glide-X and Ecobake branding to clearly demonstrate the levels of performance giving our customers and consumers choice and certainty about quality and performance.
Glide-X

The specification is recommended for utilisation in professional bakeware, high end baking & grilling as well as for use in small electrical applicances such as raclettes, rotary/air fryers and contact grills.
Glide-X Professional
GLIDE-X PROFESSIONAL is the ultimate 3-coat reinforced non-stick specification designed to provide market leading professional level non-stick performance from coil coating application.
The specification is recommended for utilisation in professional bakeware, high end baking & grilling as well as for use in small electrical appliances such as raclettes, rotary/air fryers and contact grills.
Glide-X PFA
GLIDE-X PFA is a unique non-stick specification that is based on the technology of PFA; a specialised fluoropolymer used in industrial bakeries & high protein environments.
Now available as a coil coated system for the first time, GLIDE-X PFA offers an effective hard wearing barrier providing excellent non-stick performance-particularly in sweet and pastry environments with high continuous use temperatures of 230℃ superior stain & chemical resistance and a greater toughness than PTFE. Testing shows excellent non-stick performance with high protein foods such as fish, fats & sugars with little or no staining.
The specification is recommended for utilisation in oven trays, professional bakeware, high end baking & grilling as well as for use in Industrial bakeware.
Ecobake
ECOBAKE is a cost effective 1 or 2 coat non-stick specification designed to provide good release and stain resistance at in-use temperatures up to 250℃.
The specification is recommended for utilisation in domestic baking & roasting as well as for use in small electrical appliances accessories such as grill trays.
Diamond
Diamond non-stick ceramic coating has been specially developed for use as a pre-coated sole plate for domestic steam irons. It is the result of technologically advanced coatings applied to precision rolled metal by modern manufacturing process techniques.
